Innovation and commercialization
Bioparken AS is the Innovation Centre and Science park collaborating closely with the largest BioScience R&D cluster in Norway , based at Aas, within the Oslo region. More than 1000 scientists contribute to the areas of LIFE - biology, food and human health, aquaculture, animal feed and health, environment and land and natural resource management.

Commercialization
Bioparken cooperates with all the BioScience R&D institutions to bring their inventions and innovative technologies and business ideas to the market. The mission is to create industrial value, ensuring the competitive edge and benefits for society, for the inventors and their institutions, as well as pay-back on research investments.

Innovation cluster management – Biopolis, Norway
The BioScience R&D cluster administered at Aas consists of wide-spread, national organizations of R&D institutes and industrial alliances, securing extensive biological development, improved and new technologies and innovative products. All R&D parties involved form the Biopolis Innovation cluster, aiming at enhancing their cooperative contribution to BioScience innovation, and attracting industrial partners to establish new or strengthen their partnerships within the innovation cluster.

Further management and development of Biopolis Innovation cluster is organized within the Innovation Centre Bioparken.

Business incubator
Entrepreneurs develop their innovative business ideas and companies at the premises of the Innovation Centre, with the support of competent business development teams. Office space and infrastructure, an extensive innovation and entrepreneurial network, international relations, financial resources, marketing support consultancy network – this is the range of available supporting tools meeting entrepreneurs with ambitions for their business ideas.

For R&D innovations the applied research institutions are ready to cooperate with the companies, offering services and support of their further idea- and product development.
